Travel by coach to Kuranda to enjoy a Skyrail Rainforest Cableway loop experience from Kuranda to Barron Falls Station and return, including time at the Barron Falls lookout. This is followed by free time in Kuranda Village, with your choice of entry to Kuranda Koala Gardens or Birdworld Kuranda, and a one‑way journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway.

*Daintree & Cape Tribulation Tour
Your Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation 4WD Bloomfield Track full-day tour from Palm Cove begins with being met by your friendly accredited guide at your accommodation approximately 07:45am, depending on location.

After introductions, we drive north along the magnificent scenic coastal route along the Captain Cook Highway learning about the history of the area and admiring spectacular views of the coastline and the Azure waters of the Coral Sea.

Stop 1: Daintree Rainforest River Cruise & Morning Tea – our first stop is at the Majestic Daintree River for morning tea (tea, coffee & biscuits) before enjoying an informative guided River Cruise on the Daintree River. Relax and enjoy the splendour only the Daintree Rainforest can offer as you learn of Estuarine Crocodiles, mangrove forests and endemic wildlife, this is nature at its best!

Stop 2: Alexandra Range Lookout – we make our way up over the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage, Wet Tropics, and Tropical Rainforest merging with the azure colours of the Coral Sea.

Stop 3: Guided Boardwalk and natural rainforest walk – a reasonable level of fitness is required to complete the short 1km approx. circuit with most of the trail being on a raised, timber boardwalk but with some of the trail being on rocky and uneven surfaces. Your experienced guide will take you on a wonderful journey through this ancient rainforest whilst giving you an interpretation of flora and fauna and you will have ample time for photographs and questions as we search for the elusive, rare and totally unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species within this particular habitat.

Stop 4: Lunch – Enjoy lunch at a local cafe in the Daintree Rainforest region.

Stop 5: Emmagen Creek Wildlife Spotting & Swim – we will take you beyond the famous Daintree Tea Plantation, past spectacular mountains and through spectacular World Heritage Rainforest as we pass Cape Tribulation and continue along the 4WD Bloomfield Track through to pristine Emmagen Creek. Billy Tea Safaris is the only tour operator that goes to this secret Jewel in the Rainforest, and now it is time for a refreshing rainforest stream swim, in crystal clear fresh waters and without the crowds of people.

Stop 6: Cape Tribulation Beach – we then make our way to Cape Tribulation Beach after most of the crowds are gone, stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers’ platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the ‘Rainforest meets the Reef.’

Stop 7: Ice-cream stop – we stop for a sweet treat on the way home from your fabulous day out in the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.

*Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure
Don’t miss the best place to see crocs and Australian wildlife in Tropical North Queensland! Our friendly driver will collect you from your accommodation for the scenic drive to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. After arrival, there is plenty of free time to explore the park and discover the amazing wildlife including crocodiles, koalas, wallabies, turtles, snakes, waterbirds, cassowaries and more! See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge Saltwater Crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show, and cruise the Melaleuca Wetlands to see crocodiles in their domain. Your return hotel transfer will depart Hartley’s at 4:45pm.

ITINERARY:
After being collected from your accommodation, take the scenic drive to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.

After arrival, there is plenty of free time to explore the park, including the unique eco experience of the Wetlands cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands; the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries. Discover the world’s most venomous snakes at the Snake Show. See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show before your return transfer departs.
