We absolutely loved King Fisher Bay resort. The second we got to Hervey Bay we had no complaints the entire stay.
The ladies at the counter that check you in for the ferry were so friendly and made the experience smooth.
The resort is beautiful and ties into nature so well. The first thing you think is it definitely is Eco, but still in a luxury way.
Huge mention to the Chefs at Wood and Sand by the pool at the main resort. The dishes were so well priced but the food was worth much more. We love share plates so this was designed well. The pool was always clean. The reception staff, especially Elsie were always so friendly and ready to help. The rooms were good but the island and resort are so beautiful you really shouldn’t be in your room anyway.
